I've actually heard conflicting things concerning "killing the battery" by keeping it 100%. Like the fact that Li-Ions aren't as bad as it's made out to be.
Of course, if it's plugged in 24/7, it would be better to take the battery out and let it sit in a cool, dry place. That's what I do with my laptop. But like themessenger points out, should the power cut out from the AC, you're pretty much SOL. Tho I don't really have anything all THAT important, so it's not that much of an issue for me.
