OC Geforce Go 7600 with RivaTuner - help needed !..

I need help coz I don't really know how far can I go with this..

Standard: @ 350/400

don't want to exaggerate.. (keep the temp at appropriate level..)


Can anyone help?

As far as I can tell, you can't overclock with 169.09...but you can with 169.04.

I believe there are several forum members that are having the same problem.

I've already asked (kindly) that Tony reload 169.04. Still waiting on a reply.

I've got 169.04 saved on my hdd but still don't know how much can i increase the clock and memory :/ anyone know what would be the safest OC ?


400/450? :/ or is it too much? :/ I'm a n00b as far as OC is concerned..

Uninstalled 169.09 and then installed 169.04 to make the OC possible..

I set it @ 450/450 works gr8! huuge performance boost (even 7 fps more!)

I don't know why you guys can't, but I have been using the 169.09's for the last couple days and I am having no difficulties overclocking my 7900 GS with ATItool.

From your sig I see you're using Vista's version of these drivers. I'm using XP's version of 169.09. Perhaps this problem is only on XP, but I can certify that neither ATITool nor Rivatuner will allow me to o/c.

Ditto - 169.09 essentially locks-up ATI Tool ver .26 as if the vid card BIOS was never flashed. Stock settings only.

That's what I did too. Anyway, it's still not clear how 169.09 would enhance Crysis experience as compared to 169.04. Even if there was a FPS gain, it's still more practical to be able to o/c
