WdPassword Cracked...question?

I had this:

I opened it up and found out there was a little harddisk its name is WD Scorpio 120GB

I found a Serial ATA WD Scorpio drive inside: thats this:

The drive looks like this...
it was an external HD

Btw it says USB in Blue and the golden pins cant be seen... its attached...
Can i use this on my acer aspire 5100 laptop?

moved to desktops and other technology

if thats a 2.5" drive (not a 3.5" desktop drive), shouldnt be any problem using it in your notebook, as long as your notebook doesnt use SATA drives (that doesnt look like a SATA notebook drive from the picture)

there may be a little bridge peice you'll have to fit on the pins for the connector to plug it into the notebook, sometimes you do sometimes you dont

I don't get it...why does your thread have "password cracked" in your title? All you did was open up a pre-enclosed hdd...
