As many of you know, NO COMPARISON!

So I just finished my 3DMark06 benchmark and got a 8968, i'm impressed considering that was with a 1GB module.

I found out yesterday, that a sick of my old ram was bad and finally crapped out on me, so i'm going to assume that the 3DMark05 benchmark was jacked up because of the bad stick of ram.

So i cannot wait to get my new 1GB stick of 800mhz ram from newegg so i can benchmark again, i hope it'll jump by atleast 500points. or is that too far fetched?

WTF are you talking about?

guess i should have stated, my 3DMark06 before with the bad ram, was hovering around 6,000 (what my old FX-55 did) sense i got a 1GB stick of 800mhz from my friend it jumped 2000+ points.

So basically i'm seeing this system starting to shine now.

well of course it will jump high, you went from flagship like....3 years old? to a new dual core proc and a DX10 somewhat flagship video card

oh i new there would be a huge differnce and my issed was at first i had bad ram, so it was only hovering around the FX-55 scores when i first got it. But now that i got that issue resolved, i'm happy.
and now i'm really tempted to see if i can OC this puppy to 2.66Ghz with out having to up the voltage tomuch if any

I'd think that should be easy, the C2D's OC very nicely

Except my Q6600 is an a$$ and doesn't like to be moved off of it's stock clocks

that sucks donkey, i'm loving 3.2ghz LOL...I use to have a p5n e mobo and it wouldn't let me go past 2.7ghz.

I of course have the P5k, it really does suck that it won't OC. Whatever though, even at 2.4ghz it's still by far fast enough to do all the tasks I ask of it
