8887 screen upgrade to the new UXGA+

I was wondering if this question (posed many times throughout these forums) was ever resolved?

While it was asked by many (at the time the 5660 got it's new screen) it never seemed to be resolved.

Has there been any news (from you insiders) that there will be a 16.1" UXGA+ screen? Or if one comes out, will it be an upgrade option for current 888x owners?

Inquiring minds, and all that...

UXGA on 8887

I asked once to Adam (two months ago), he told me it would be probably in future, but not excatly date. It would be great 8887 will come soon with UXGA (great viewing angles). Adam correct me if i am wrong.

Especially since that option is readily available for other Clevo-under-a-different-name...

Are you sure there are other resellers who offer different screen choices for the 8887? I don't think this is true because what clevo says goes. And if Clevo offered this then so would Sager, I think...
