Hey, I'm no techno guro - this is my first laptop and only second computer, and the first time I've tried to do more than surf and email - and I walked straight into the Vista wall. I got this machine so as to take videos of my students and stick them on the internet so they could review themselves, but my version of .WMM is not working at all. And I DO know enough to be able to make it work, if it did.
I have an HP Pavilion dv2000, with Intel Core Duo, 1.73GHz, and 0.99 GB, 32 bit, with Vista Home Basic.
I'm using it with a Sony HDD Handycam.
Do I need to up the RAM to 2 GB or more, or, do I need to up the Vista to Ulimate or something in order to make .WMM work? Or both these things? Or more, as well...?!
Or, can I download some other software that would allow me to capture, edit and upload my clips with this setup?
Any ideas would help, and any real knowledge could save my life, seriously. This is for my job, and my career would be helped no end. Speaking of which, I'm pretty much at my wit's end, too.
Have a nice week, yas all!
