Just to let you all know that are playing the PC Version of this...I was a Major LVL 35 and did this hack, and now i'm a 5 star...I don't feel bad at all cause I usually rank in the top 3 anyway.
If you are tired of ranking up and want to immediately get a Gold desert eagle simply follow these directions, it does work, since the rank is saved client side.

Here’s how: open Tsearch, start a new script, enter the memory address, then enter in the XP you would like. Keep in mind - you’ll want to back up your Call of Duty 4 profile just in case something goes wrong - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
