I would get at least 2GB of DDR2 RAM (If I were were you), cuz Vista is gonna RUN VERY SLOW without 2GB of RAM, and, I wouldn't count on a very high Vista WEI score w/ that lappy I'd say about a 2.0 to a 3.0, if your lucky to even get above a 2.0 Score, check my sig below, all I get with Vista is a 3.1 Vista WEI Score.........FYI, I wouldn't put much stock in that Vista WEI Score Scam, if I were you as w/ most of the lastest Gateway Notebooks, really aren't all that upgradable, other than the HD and the RAM is really all you can upgrade (That's why they are being sold so CHEAP)
