I have a questions about resolution and this graphics option.

Resolution for standard screen?

Resolution for LED screen?

What resolution does it support on the VGA out?

Does the 8400 option come with DVI out?

If so what resolution?

Can this graphics option support the max on the laptop screen and second screen at the same time?

1) The laptop's display is 1280x800. CCFL and LED are just the backlight technologies, and not the resolution. So either screen technology will also be 1280x800.

2) Yes, there is VGA out. It will support whatever your drivers will support. The ones I use support 1920x1200 max.

3) No, the laptop does not have DVI out. However, it does have HDMI out. If you are plugging into an HDTV, you can plug in using HDMI. If you are plugging into a computer monitor, then you can simply use an HDMI-to-DVI cable like this one:

4) Yes, you can run both the laptop screen and external screen at the same time, using max resolution for each screen (1280x800 on laptop screen, and 1920x1200 / 1920x1080 for external).
