sorry this isn't a notebook but I didn't know where else to ask this. my girlfriend gave me her old dell desktop and I'm using it for music downloading and internet browsing (nice big hard drive) it isn't that old, but because of all the downloads and whatnot it is super slow and has a bunch of problems (sound only works sometimes, burner won't work, etc) I was just wondering if I can wipe everything from it and start out fresh?? oh yeah, she had the restore thing turned off the whole time she owned it so I can't restore to a specific date. any help would be great thanks.
