Hi,
I am having an issue with my Geforce 8400M GS. It seems that, every hour or so (the time varies), my notebook (Dell XPS M1330, 2GB RAM, 1.8GHZ, Vista 32bit) freezes up. Usually, the screen starts getting all jumbled and then, about five seconds or so later, a black screen comes up. It remains like this until I do an emergency shutdown.
I know for a fact it is my video card because this issue does not happen when I disable it and use the standard VGA settings. My drivers were last updated on 11/12, which I believe is the most up-to-date drivers for the 8400M GS.
Anyways, it is quite a nuisance and I would really appreciate it if anyone could lend some advice. Oh yeah, the video card was never overclocked or tampered with in any form.
Thanks.
