Need Help Asap! Ie Hijacked...

I don't know what I did but now have some freednhost.info/page/ in front of everywhere I go and it won't let me get rid of it. I don't know what to do...I tried ad-aware, cwshredder...what do I do??? HELP!!!!

See if it's the latest version of ad-aware that you're using, meaning, click the "check for updates" thing.

Also, check for viruses (http://housecall.trendmicro.com) and if all that fails, I'd run regedit and do a search for the URL you keep getting.

I would also recommend Spybot Search and Destroy. It's free and finds alot of stuff Ad-aware doesn't. I use both, Spybot seems to do updates more frequently.

If you haven't already, check your default homepage in properties to make sure there isn't a script tagged on it as well

edit 1 - If these don't work, what are the details, is this in IE, is it displaying on the top bar or a popup? Do a screen capture if you can.

Thanks to everyone for their help...well all is back to normal but only after Ad-Aware, SpyAware, searching the registry for an hour...and what really did the job Spybot and HijackThis...and after a hundred restarts all seems normal again! I have never had this happen before and it was soo frustrating! Everyone be warned...the funny thing is that I was surfing for a nocd crack for GTA-VC! Plus I was running WINPATROL & NORTON ANTIVIRUS! Thanks everyone for your help...
