Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Advanced MB Software

Thread Starter
Hey, I was recommended to try this forum from the Dell forums because the moderator's over there are giving me a big problem about trying to get some help from someone, they censor everything!

Anyways here is my problem and I hope someone here can help me out!

I purchased the above software (see title/subject line of this thread) for my Inspiron E-1705 last year, I have my own license code and all of that jazz. The problem is a week ago I dropped the CD/DVD onto the floor, didn't realize it and accidently rolled over it with my office chair and the disk was history! I have been trying to get someone over at the Dell forums to burn me a copy of it but the moderators keep deleting my post saying I'm spamming...unbelievable!

Dell does NOT supply the CD/DVD anymore (as they are not supplying the XP version of this software anymore and that is what I need...the XP version...NOT the Vista version!

So would anyone here who has this software (XP VERSION ONLY), would you mind terribly burning me a copy of it and mailing it to me? I will pay for your expenses but I really need to get this software. It was one of the best software purchases I've ever made! It makes a night and day difference with the on board audio card.

Again, I have my own serial number, I just need a physical copy of the software CD/DVD.

Thanks so much and if you can help, please private me.

Thanks!

P.S. I tried posting this in the for sale/wanted section but I get a message telling me I don't have "permission" to post!?

Have you checked the Creative website to see if the software is available from there? I've been able to find drivers and other software there for my SB Live card...

Can't post in the For Sale/Wanted forums until you've had 25 posts.

Actually, checking the Creative site shows that they now have an auto-update - if you still have the device installed, their software should be able to pick it up and get you what you need (possibly, unless it's one of the only-from-Dell things).

This will still require the activation serial that came with the notebook.

Of course, he said that he had the serial from his original disk which got smashed.
So, that is an iso I created of my XP audigy advanced MB cd so he can use his serial.
