So i've come to the point where I will need a laptop for school. I've looked at some laptops, namely apple macbooks, dell inspirons/xps line, toshiba sattelites, and I believe that the sony Vaio FZ series (more specifically the Sony Vaio FZ260) will be the best for me. But before I make an order, I wanted to know what all of you thought. Your definately smarter than most websites with people who place opinions on laptops that they own (saying it's the best just because they own it) or from people who have no idea what they're talking about. I was wondering if you guys could answer some of the following questions as well as you possibly can.
1) Does anyone own a Sony Vaio FZ 260? what are your opinions on it?
2) Am i getting a good deal with Sony? Will i be regretting this later?
3) For college, will this be a good laptop?
Personally I will be using this as a notebook for college, and basically as a desktop replacement. My parents will be taking my original desk top, and so I will be using my laptop around 90% of the time, if not all the time. My budget is around $1400-$1800, and I live in Canada. I won't be using this for gaming BUT you never know, i might install a game eventually for those times i'm incredibly bored.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and if you have any input whatsoever i would really appreciate it. Thank you.
