notebook choices

Thread Starter
hi all,
i've never purchased a notebook, but used to build high powered oc'd desktops so i have some technical experience. currently look at a few choice laptop and i love to have some input...
toshiba x250-sli1
asus G2S A1 or B1

i would like to use this as a desktop replacement/gaming rig, so just a few ?s:

i am swayed by the sli but don't really know about performance gains, so how much power drain v performance improvment could i expect with the 2 vid cards

i like the increased resolution on the asus, but if the screen quality is subpar compared to the toshiba i'd gladly sacrifice resolution for performance and good contrast, brightness, refresh, etc

i would be interested in overclocking if this is suitable for either notebook

thanks in advance for your help

if you can afford dual 7950gtx's get them, that right now is the fastest video card solution on the market for laptops

unless the 8800 series have come out and blow them away

8600gt has nothing on sli 7950gtx

and id pick the Asus over the toshy
