Hey guys I am new to the notebook world and I decided to buy one yesterday. I used a coupon I found online to configure an HP DV6500Z to what amounted to a nice pc. But, I wanted to ask the community if they think I got a good value, and also if these kind of coupons are available all the time, or did I really get something special?
Here is what I paid 807$ for.
HP Pavilion dv6500z CTO NB
- Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
- AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-62 (2.1 GHz, 512KB+512KB L2 Cache )
- 15.4" WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800)
- 2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
- 128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
- HP Imprint (Radiance) + Fingerprint Reader + Microphone
- 802.11b/g WLAN
- 160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
- SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support
- $30 OFF HP ExpressCard Digital/Analog TV Tuner!!
- 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
- System Recovery DVD with Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
I hope I got a good processor, I kept getting hammered with Core 2 duo messages, but ive had good luck with amd, and this is the only pc the coupon I had worked for. What do you guys think?
