well I thought it would be nice to start a thread where we could compare Over Clock results for the 8800 Series desktop cards

info to compare
Video Card
model #
Ram Size
Core - Shader - Memory speeds

CPU & MB/Ram info.

Benchmarks

3Dmark06 Score - ORB Result Default Setup
FRAPS score pick a few different games so we can hopefully have some common ground. With Resolution & game settings

Perhaps Crysis as a baseline for FPS along with BF2142, BF2.

I post some scores in a little bit for my Sli Config

The first over clock made a difference of 10 fps in Crysis

I can still over clock as much as 700 Core 1.75 Shader and 2.0 Mem on these cards which may yield another 10-15 FPS in Crysis

Can I overclock my 8800GT KO? (already at 675 mhz)

The max I have seen for the 8800GT Stock was the SSC card

700 Core, 1.75 Shader and 2.0 mem

Some have managed a little higher with minor adjustments to the voltages

So yeah you probably could get a little more out of it, just keep a close eye on your temps.

Do some benchmarks and FRAPS on your KO and post them here if you don't mind, it would be nice to see some comparisons

Cheers
