I still say 19x12, its true 1080p no other res will ever offer that!
As far as 16x10, its just that 16x10- not a 16x9 res therefore any interpolation into a 16x9 res will be off!
As to the between 14x9 anr 19x12 you asked earlier, when I said you actually get both this is whats meant: you will have 19x12 amount of pixels and can then run 19x12 resolution on it 1:1, but b/c 14x9 is still a 16x9 aspecct ratio it scales perfectly onto the 19x12 pixels with no stretching/compression/scaling errors.
Say you want to run a full screen 1080p Bluray or a 1080p wmv or say a 1080p xbox360 game on a 16x10 screen you will end up letterboxing bars or a stretched image that is not accurate! Even a native 14x9 screen is still a 16x9 aspect and although you will lose a little of the overall res of a 1080p source, it will run fullscreen at the correct aspect so everything is in proper proportion and no letterboxing.
get 19x12, run it at that for gaming/movies - set it to 14x9 for normal use.
