I have some recovery DVDs that came with the PC, but what state does my computer have to be in for these DVDs to work? Do I have to have the exact same partition layout that was on my PC when I bought it? I _think_ it was split into 2 ntfs partitions and 1 recovery partition, but I'm not sure...
