New cards in m9700!?

hey watsup guys. Ive been thinking of gettin new cards in my m9700. i currently have 2 256mb7900gs cards.
Does anyone know if the 7950 gtx card will fit in the slot? What about the 8800m gtx?
Im not worried about the cooling system i just need to get some new cars. The 7900 cards are being outdated FASSSTTTTTTTTTT

I think the general thought is that 7950's won't fit into m9700. It may be outdated spec-wise, but mine still plays games with authority, and I only have one 256MB card. I can play bioshock and cod4 without any major hiccups. I have no doubts that this laptop will last the expected 3 years that I figured it would.

I don't think the 7950 will work due to power needs. The cooling is also a concern.

But i did read on this site somewhere about the 7950 and 8800m cards using less power!? it was something like 44 watts for the 7950 and 22 watts for the 8800m cards. Im willing to go for it i jus need to know if it fits the socket. Any of you guys know the size of the socket for the cards? and the size of the 7950 and 8800m cards?

There's a member of these forums called Ice-Tea. He sells laptop vid cards from his business in Europe. He'd be the best bet for a source and information.
