Do Acer's come with Utility/Driver Disk?

Hi All,

I just bought me an a new Acer notebook. This is the model I have with an additional 10% coupon.

I was wondering if it was normal for acer to not supply any restore cd's or other driver utility disk?

I was expecting this new notebook to run faster but I think it is because of all the bloatware that's on it. I just wanted to make sure I don't remove the wrong things.

Any suggestions on how I can make this thing run faster? First time using vista so it is kind of weird for me at the moment.

I want to upgrade memory but not sure what kind to get.

Read the manual, it will tell you how to make recovery disks which will include the drivers
