Portege R500 Problem

I am trying to do a clean corporate install of XP and I am getting a blue screen error in Windows Setup.

I thought it may be the disk, so I tried it in another machine and it works fine.

Is there a special thing I have to do to install XP on this machine? Load SATA Drivers? etc...

If this is just an off the shelf copy of XP, you will need to go to Toshiba.com and download all the drivers, utilities etc for your specific model. The ones on this link were for the Portege R500-S5001X . These drivers as well as most laptop drivers will not be found on over the counter copies of OS's.
