m1210 realistic expectations

Thread Starter
Hay Guise, im new to this community.
First of all, this is the first laptop i own. I love and care for it like i would do for my kids (i dont have kids , im 17)
Is a M1210, and this are the specs:
12 IN WXGA
Intel Processor T5600(1.83GHZ)
2GB ddr2 at 533MHZ
Integrated Video GM 945
160 GB HD
Windows Vista Business
8X DVD+/-RW DRIVE

... pretty standard, as you can see. now, i ve read many, MANY things about the graphic update i can do to this comp (basically, swapping the mobo with a better one). Im a casual to pro gamer (pro in old games like SC, casual on new games like oblivion). I heard the 7400 can run oblivion and a crapload of stuff, and also, that it doesnt worth the upgrade and blah blah blah. i already checked the 7400 thread someone posted, and also checked many other websites too. I want someone who can tell me :

a) This upgrade really worth it? how much it will cost?
b) I will be able to get a decent FPS in COmpany of heroes with this upgrade, and my current specs?
c) Is there any possibility to run sc II even in lowest to low settings?
Basically, thats what i wanted to know. if i have any other question, i will post it later. Thanks in advance guise

I also own a M1210 and yes I think....

that the upgarde would be worth the price. I have owned mine since August of 2006. Before I purchased my Alienware mALX gaming laptop last June I played WoW exclusively on my little Dell and it did a fine job .

I purchased the Dell laptop with the 7400 (see my specs in the signature).

So my advice is yes to the upgrade.

Hope this helps.
