FX2500 question/problem

Hey guys, I just put in my FX2500 today in my E1705 and I decided to run 3Dmark05 just to see what I get on stock speeds. I got 8511 . Anyway, I then flashed the bios using juanlu's iso and I used 2500muo I believe. I forgot to mention I am using regular nvidia drivers I got from the m90 section on the dell website and I also had to download some tune thing that nvidia said I would have to download to have the ablility to overclock. Anyway... I decided to go from 500/600 to 600/700 and I tested it and it passed so that was all good. Well with 600/700 I decided to run 3Dmark05 again and it went through the first scene just fine but after that it took forever to load the second scene (the tree scene) and the screen flashed black and the fps dropped to like 6 fps.. it went incredibly slow.. its like the card dropped its clocks or something. Also I am using the 130w brick and I got it off ebay. Does anyone know why my performance on 600/700 would do fine for a bit and then just drop to crap? Is it overclocked too high? or...is it something else like something wrong with 3dmark? Anyway any help is appreciated. Thanks!

easy - your card got overheated and lowered the clocks so the temp will go down.
the temp level where that happens is about 90-100c not sure where exactly.

I just cleaned my heatsinks two days ago and got the temp lowered by 8c , so u might wanna do that , if it's clean allready just lower your clocks.
