Second internal HD for D830?

Does anyone know if the D830 supports swapping out the DVD for a second internal hard drive? I need disk space more than DVD most of the time. I'd rather not have to carry and plug in an external HD if at all possible. Thanks.

Yes indeed it does. You can buy a Dell DBay Hard Drive caddy on eBay for about $40-50. Unfortunately the caddies ONLY support PATA drives, not SATA. Hot swaps out with any DBay device. I have one in my D820.

The part number for mine is 8T687. Mine is an older version though. There are some newer ones that are built a little nicer. There's a seller on eBay that has ones that'll take a SATA drive, but I don't have the Dell part number for the newer ones.
