Unable to apply profile

I have IBM Thinkpad T40. My wireless feature used to worked. It is not working after reinstalling OS. Since then I can't connect my laptop wirelessly. The error message keep saying unable to apply profile when I try to connect wireless. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver few times and installed the latest version of Thinkvantage tools. Any idea how can I resolve this issue.

tried disable intel wireless management and let windows zero config handles ur connections and see
