Dell Vostro 1400 Noise

I just bought a new Dell Vostro 1400. When I first turned it on, I noticed a noise come from the upper right corner of the keyboard( right above the hard drive). It sounds like somebody is vacuuming or something. I'm guessing it's the hard drive or it's another internal fan thats making the noise. The noise seems to go on constantly, even when I'm not using it. Does anyone else have this issue?

You've probably got a fan in that area - hard drive should be more toward the center of the notebook, on the bottom.
You can remove the keyboard enough to see what's making the noise - instructions on how to do this can be found here:

Okay thanks. I justed opened the keyboard and didn't find any fan. So i guess the sound is coming from the hard drive. The only fan i found was on the left side of the keyboard. Oh well, i guess Seagate hard drives aren't so good at being quiet
