Satelite A35-s209 Drivers HELP!!!!!!

This laptop did not have the driver disks. A lot of the drivers on toshibas website do not match this system.

I need the:

SMBUS Driver
Sound
Modem
Chipset

I think it is a 9100IGP chipset if im not mistaken.

I see the sound, modem and video drivers all either on page one or two

Most of the drivers listed there do not match the sytem config. I have ati chipset, toshiba lists intel. There website is wrong, ebay shows a few that have ati.

Ok, well I am still having a problem finding drivers, the ones on toshibas website simply do not work. I have the audio, pci modem, and smbus left and nothing will work. I even used those free websites and ended up getting a spyware infection in the process. I am at the end, toshiba's support is non existent and they cannot provide replacement restore cd's.

So, does anyone still own this laptop that could send me some drivers or CD;s. I will be happy to use paypal to get them. Even if they are copies that work that is fine.

Your probably looking for the wrong drivers: I found this list of associated hardware for a A35-s209. For example you were suggesting you had a 9100IGP chipset which doesnt look like it. according to this its Intel 852GM

Thats what is weird. When installing the intel chipset drivers, I get an error saying there is no hardware present. The ATi display driver installed perfect. It seems like toshiba has a crap website, or when it was refurbished they upgraded to a newer motherboard and did not provide documentation.

Take a look thru here with some of the different models and you might find what you need

Verify by going into your Control Panel>System> hardware and make sure that the devices/drivers are exactly what you need
