167.45 vista drivers from dell

I just downloaded the new 167.45 drivers from dell's website for my 7950go and am not sure if they are working. I used to be able to play hl2:e2 with full detail at 1920x1200, but with the new drivers the game stutters and my frame rate is terrible.

Anybody have a similar experience with the drivers? Any recommendations for my 1710? I used to have 101.15 I think, the previous ones from dell's website.

I dont run Vista but will try 2 help

Try a genuine driver from nvidia or a modified driver.

I have the same problem with my m170 and the 7800gtx but don't really know how to fix it. I seem to have the same stuttering issue no matter what vista driver I try :-/

Alright after fiddling around with some drivers, 169.13 seems to be really stable and I've lost the stuttering issues. You can find 169.13 from laptopvideo2go's website (don't forget the modded inf..).

The dell 7950 drivers were so bad that even psychonauts was stuttering and suffering from frame rate issues.

I had a stuttering issue with 80 and 90 series drivers from Dell and laptopvideo2go. The mobile 156 series drivers solved the issue, at the cost of overheating in my case. I'm currently using the 156.80 drivers and aside from the overheating, they're the best I've tried.

This was my original issue too and moving to the latest from laptopvideo2go fixed my sever flickering when any 3D app would come up (i.e. nVidia control panel).
