I’m a final year Product Design Technology student at Northumbria University, England. For my final year project I am designing and making a prototype of a laptop stand/case. I am not aware if a product of this type currently exists. The product will be a case during transportation and will be opened up when needed and be adjustable to allow the user to change the viewing height/angle of the laptop. The laptop will be used within the case. It will be possible to be used on you lap, desk, train etc. The laptop will also be kept cool when used with the stand.
I was wondering whether anyone uses or has used a laptop stand and what do they think of it?
And also does anyone transport their laptop to and from university or college, work etc? Are they comfortable to carry?
Use their laptop on a train, plane or in public places, what problems do you face? How can they be overcome?
