WANN on M1530

I have ordered my M1530 and at the time of order, Dell did not offer the internal card for ATT Wireless Broadband.

Which would work best, order the internal card when it IS available or get a smartcard ATT card to go int the slot?

You can get any of the ATT compatible mini cards that are at Dell right now. You'll need to get a SIM card from ATT though in order for the card to register on the network. I don't think those cards come with SIMs.

Yes I have seen these cards. My main concern is their performance v.s. the internal cards performance. Does the internal antenna and card outperform the ATT card and it's small fold up antenna?

Is the antenna existing inside the M1530 even though it did not come with the internal card originnaly?

Thanks

Actually you can get the internal cards from Dell too. They're a bit harder to find in the accessories section. I can't speak for any other model, but the Antennae in the screen of my D820 gives me wicked good reception on Wi-Fi, (I don't have an aircard). However, considering how most cell phones have embedded antennae that are smaller than the ones on the Express cards, I don't think you'll have much trouble getting a signal.

Thanks, I think I will give the ATT card a try! They offer a 30 day return if it does not work well, I should know in just a day or two!

Thanks
