MBP Problems with DVD drive?

I've noticed today that my MBP DVD-RW drive won't read any of my home burned DVDs anymore. I don't know if this has any connection with downloading the updates or installing boot camp + VmWare.

It won't work either under Mac OX 10.4.11 or Windows XP.

Will I have to send my MBP back to back only three months after buying it? This is not very funny.

Thanks in advance!

Are all your DVDs the same brand?

If they are try other brands...try some from friends and see if they work. Try your disks in other computers and see if they're read there.

Hardware problems suck, especially when they happen so soon, but at least it's under warranty.

Nope, they're of many different brands and yeah, they all work in other computers. They used to work here too.

And I have also tried DVD-Rs and DVD+Rs burned in other drivers. No success.
