Ok, so it starts out strange.

I have my Asus A8JP up for sale on craigslist, I had to repost a few times due to it running out.

The first time I posted it, a guy sent me a message low balling me saying it wasnt worth what I was asking (1000 with a mx3200 duo) So I basicly said get lost yada yada.

So I repost because the listing runs out and runs on the way back of the computer section. This guy emails me and says "Will you trade my Thinkpad T60P and 250 cash for your Asus laptop?

I was like, tf.....scam right off the rip. But maybe this person isnt that smart with computers so doesnt know the value of his IBM. So I emailed him and said get back to me with the spec's.
And come to find out the guy who offered me the IBM trade, is the same guy who low balled me before......I dont understand. Though he did say it was for his daughter (the asus) so maybe he was willing to do whatever it takes.

Basicly the same laptop im willing to trade, but the thinkpad is 15.4 inch wsxga

So I said wait till thursday, we can meet up at starbucks. He said hes already at the walmart which is a football feild from starbucks. (using a blackberry to email me while there)

So I said ok let me format and backup files and ill head up there. So I do, and we set everything up.

And he hands me 250 cash, and the laptop......he has no bag so he gives me his Asus G1 gaming backpack for free.

So yeah thats my story, slowly im falling in love with this laptop but alas bills have to be paid so i have it up on ebay, and here

And I do see why people love Thinkpads so much, ill prolly get one sooner or later
