As long as Broken Steel is installed and active, you can still access any missed quest.

Are there any quests I missed out on and can't get now that I completed the main quest of the game? I plan on visiting each spot on my map.

because thats the only benefit, you can easily enough look online at a game map to see the locations if you cant find something? the others provide you actual character benefits that help you more in the long run.

similarly theres a perk in New Vegas that just increases brightness during the nighttime, which is just as worthless because you can just manually turn up the brightness if its too dark to see.

How did this work for people who originally beat the game and then the DLC was released? Did they have to back and replay their last saved game?

yeah you have to load a game, because completting the game ends the game but does not save in an ended state. I just loaded my save from in the room 2 minutes before the ending

But Broken Steel is the only DLC that allows you to play AFTER the game ends? The others you need to finish before the final battle?

If you dont have broken steel, yes you have to finish them before the final battle. If you do have broken steel, you have the option to do it before or after.

That blob of flesh and gore WAS Princess. What happened was she (somehow) took enough damage that she should have insta-gib'd. But the games engine is programed to keep kids alive no matter what to try to avoid any criticism from a game having the ability to kill children. So, the engine came into conflict with itself there and gibbed her but kept the gibs alive as an interactive NPC.

Ah. I was wondering why I couldn't kill kids!
it can be a problem some times, such as the Republic of Dave you can aggro some kids if you do certain things, and cant un-aggro them, and it makes it so you cant fast travel in that area anymore

I really can't believe how good this game is. I am so sucked in right now. Is this the largest RPG world ever made ? (With the exception of WoW Probably)

Is there an RPG that has a larger world out there? Where you can roam around as much you want with the landscape in the distance?

Ohhhh. But yeh, I didn't mean to include MMOs. WoW would certianly have a giant world too.

SP RPGs... Fallout 3 has the largest world.

non-MMO's probably. i dunno Oblivion might be about the same size, but I havent played it.

funny enough usually I play FFXI in first person view, and last time I played it I wasnt paying attention and so was trying to walk over a mountain with the trick you can do it in Fallout 3/Fallout NV and sitting there wondering why it wouldnt work laugh4.gif
