Where do most of you get batteries?

My wife's home lap top is a Gateway M7515GX that has a bad battery, at least I hope that is all it is because as long as it is plugged into wall power it works pretty decent except that the charging indicator after about 5 minutes starts to blink & when I unplug the computer it shuts down & will not even attempt to start till it is replugged in.

Where does every one here get replacement batteries for their lap tops?
I've looked at a few locations but the prices are NUTS!!!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I looked for that specific model but cannot find anything in our database (or online for that matter). Are you sure that is the exact model number? How about the part number on the battery itself?

I don't know where I got the GX from.... {banging head}

It's a Gateway MX7515, the Battery is the same as the Emachines 6809, 6811 series notebooks....

I do not think we have any in stock. Although we may be able to make one for you. Please follow the instructions on the bottom of the Help/Info page http://www.topmicrousa.com/aboutus.html

I will get one of our employees to assist you as soon as possible.

i highly recommend staying away from 3rd party batteries, they dont last long and ive seen cases where they caused failure to the logic board. just buy an authentic gateway/emachine battery
