If anyone has any thoughts -
I'm buying a new PC and looking at these three models:
Dell XPS m1530
Lenovo Thinkpad t61p
HP Pavilion dv9500t
Will use for internet/word processing, also a lot music and movies, some gaming. Generally will sit on my desk but will probably take it with me somewhere a few times a month. Battery life is not of great importance. Neither are looks. I won't have a external monitor hooked up.
Of whichever model am thinking 2.2ghz, 2gb RAM, 160 GB 7200 rpm. Graphics card - NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M (256MB Open GL) for Lenovo, Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT graphics card with 256MB for the Dell or 8600 GS for the HP.
I know the 8600M GT is better for gaming than the GS but is it really that significant?
Also w/ 2GB RAM, is there any point to getting Vista 64-bit rather than 32-bit?
Thanks so much for any input!
