Overheating XPS M1210!!

Has anyone else had problems with their XPS M1210 overheating? I did not have this problem when I first purchased this wonderful laptop but for quite awhile now if I forget to turn on the cooling pad (additional) the machine heats up within 15-20 minutes and lagggs something fierce!

I have upgraded the laptop with a gig of ram (now at 2 gigs) and the internal EV DO Card. Should those additions cause the heat build up?

Thanks.

Do you think it would work to use aircan cleaner?

If your talking about the compressed air in a can, well then dont use it. They have been known to make appliances stuff up, because when air comes out of a can it can be cold and ends up freezing the components. When it defrosts it creates water (or something to that effect).

Your better off just lifting the keyboard and padding the fan with a brush with fine bristles. Or if you are using the air in a can, spray it on you arm for a few seconds and make sure it doesnt start freezing. (your arm is often more sensitive than your hand)
