Vista keeps saying Installed a program when I didn't

Hi,

I have been bored recently and noticed the system stability chart. It says that I have installed the same programs every day since I first started them for the first time when I had them downloaded. That keeps the chart down, and in the software (UnInstalls) part that is shown in the picture below.

All the entries there are the same for every day, since I first started this computer.

Please look at that chart and see why it is doing this because I have no clue. Does this mean it runs through the installers in the background?

Please help!
Thanks!

ohh, sorry I didn't reply, I haven't come here lately because I thought no one knew.

err, the programs are a few Flight Simulator software, this thing called 'AV', Adobe reader, Dell Support Centre Dell System customisation Wizard, and loads, loads more, there are more than one entry for all of the software it shows.

i still dont know

how about cleaning up ur startup processes first (cCleaner is a nice free tool to use). Vista has a funny way of storing loads of extra system tasks that xp did not do (a nice read here http://www.petri.co.il/reliability_m...dows_vista.htm )

cheers ...
