My computer is a ThinkPad T42 2379-DWU

WinXP Pro
15 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD,
32MB ATI Radeon 7500

I am getting a Lenovo ThinkPad Mini-Dock FRU:40Y8141

I would like to buy a LCD monitor but am not sure what type my video card and drivers will support and get the best image quality.

Can I get a widescreen monitor or do I need to stick with a 4:3? How large of a monitor can I get while using native resolution?

Any other advice with this set-up appreciated..
