wireless card decides to stop working

Thread Starter
Okay my computer is an acer 8790. This thing is ancient I got it three years ago and it was one of the first 17" laptops to be released.
anyways thru the years the hdd has broken on me and I've had to underclock the gpu because it's practically half dead. Well I may have another problem.

Bout a week ago the wireless card stops working... I dunno why? But here's the weird thing... The device manager says it's working properly, detects it fine, drivers seem to be okay and upto date. The card is functional but when I try to search for a wireless network: Nothing. I click on that lets windows configure my wireless networks button still nothing. It's def not my router because 3 other computers pick it up fine (2 windows 1 mac) I dunno what's wrong with my wireless card... I don't think it's broken... I think it may be software related but I dunno where to start. (p.s. I already reinstalled my entire Os to factory settings and it still doesn't work)

Any suggestions?
