I've been having issues with my wireless connection being dropped.
I have a CL56 with a 2200b/g card with current drivers. I'm using a netgear WNR834B router. Also with current drivers.
The main issue I have is that at least 1-2 times a week, after having been connected for 24-48 hours or so, my laptop will drop the connection. I can see my network in the Intel ProWireless app, it just will not let me connect. Disabling and re-enabling the wireless adapter does nothing. Restarting the computer does nothing. The only way to restore connectivity is to unplug the router and then plug it in a moment later.
Normally this resolves the issue, at least for awhile. Lately it's happening all the time, and unplugging the router does not guarantee that I will be able to reconnect. I believe this to be a problem specific to my computer, as my brother and father have not noticed any issues with their laptops.
I also know this issue is confined to my home network, as I have no problems at work and other places.
Does anyone have any suggestions? It's driving me crazy. I figure it has to be the router, and I'm about ready to chuck the darn thing out a window.
Thanks in advance,
-Cory
