Reply to my own post.. I'm currently in a 90 Trial of WLOC and I like it so far. I used AVG but found it to be a little slow... NOD32 will be next on my list when my Trial expires.

I had Comcast Macfee (It comes free w/ my ISP), but it was very ackward & annoying to use, so, I got the 90 days Trial of Windows Live Onecare, and when that was up, I subscribed to it for a whole yr. (49.00 US) I like it , it run very quite in the background, and isn't too intrusive like Macfee was, and it dosen't bug me all the time, I really like WLOC

10x for walcome
I know for this virus. When i was with XP i was not having a problem. I am trying now with Vista.

Avast. Works with both, don't notice it on the background, is not a resource hog nor is intrusive.

Has stopped everything so far that tried to get in my computer. Use it with both Windows XP and Vista 32-bit.

Avast...

Not NOD please o no.. even other AV do the same amount of task without pulling down the system performance.

AVG in Vista is BUGGED. Sometime options won't listen to you.

AVG Pro with Firewall on both my systems. I am now using Vista Home Premium 32 on both since my confidence is better with Vista now. I've tried several out there, but prefer an integrated AV and Firewall solution for less resources.

For a free AV, I prefer AVG. I have heard good things about Comodo for a firewall.

I don't use any Antivirus. I have built-in firewalls, email checkers, and I block all cookies, except those I trust. I also make sure not to go to any malicious/unsafe websites, and nobody else uses my PC.

In my entire life of computing, I've had one virus, which came from some floppy disk, way back in the days of Windows 95.

Not saying it could never happen again, but I am very careful...

I use Kaspersky Internet Security. Works great on Vista x32 and x64. Very low resource usage and hourly updates. I started out using no antivirus, then started looking for a Vista x64 capable firewall (wanted to see how much Vista was talking.) I found Kaspersky and decided to enable the antivirus as well.

By the way, this is my first post too. Long time lurker, first time poster.
