Hi,

I just yesterday upgraded the original Intel 3945 ABG WLAN mini pci express wifi card for a Intel 4965 AGN wireless card.

Since the uograde,I noticed the"WIFI"status led light above the power hinge cover would flash on and off at times.I remember it never doing this flashing when I had the original 3945 card in it and want to know if this normal or if it indicates a issue??

Thanks,

Ko

Are you 100% positive your connections are good and you've uninstalled the old driver and installed the correct new driver? Does your Wi-Fi work correctly?

I know for a fact that in Ubuntu the driver flashes the LED as a status indicator - slow flashes mean its not associated with an AP, fast flashing indicate transfers, etc. It's a feature! I haven't seen that on Windows though, but I have the 3945 and don't have the intel software installed.
