Sager NP8880 and Ubuntu 7.10

Hi guys!

I have the above mentioned Laptop, it has the TV card option installed and is pretty well loaded up. I have been thinking about loading Ubuntu 7.10 on it but I'm concerned about getting the TV card working as well as the MP3 player card working if I do so. Is there drivers and such for these components?? If I can get all the stuff working I'd love to convert the machine to Linux.

Looks like most things worked in 6.10 but needed some extra effort to get working. It should be interesting to try out 7.10 and see how much works out of the box for you, but that page should give a starting point to getting the rest working.
