Item 1: Adaptec 4800SAS Raid controller

Description
This card has 8 ports and u can configure it to be all internal or 4 internal and 4 external ports. It can be used on both Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) or Serial ATA (SATA) hard disks drives.

This is one of the best SAS Raid controller around. This is the full boxed version and is PCI-X version with an integrated 128mb DDR2 cache.

This box set comes with all the original accessories:
- Adaptec 4800SAS card
- 2 x Adaptec fanout cables
- CD-Rom and documentations.

It retails for over US$851 at SCSI4me.

Warranty
There is also warranty from Adaptec from this card with its unique TSID (Technical Support ID) and is warrantied by Adaptec until 30th Aug 2009.

Price: US$550 + shipping

Its so new that I've only removed the seal wrap and open to check the contents and never even touched the card which is left in the plastic cover!!!

Item 3: HP Seagate Savvio 10k.1 36gb

Description
This 2.5" provides fast seeks of 10k rpm hdds and much lower power consumption than equivalent 3.5" hdds. And it comes with the original HP hot-swap caddy.

Retails for US$248 at Provantage.

Warranty
Item is confirmed working but 7 days of personal warranty will be given out of goodwill.

Description
This SCSI drive is one of the best in the industry and needs no introduction.

This SCSI hdd uses the 80pin SCA U320 interface.

Warranty
Warranty by Seagate until 06-Aug-2010.

Item 5: Fujitsu MAU3147NC U320 15k 147gb SCSI hdd (Remanufactured)

Description
The Fujitsu MAU3147NC has the best performance for 15k SCSI drives. Although this is not labelled with Fujitsu's label, it is in actual fact a remanufactured Fujitsu drive.

This SCSI hdd uses the 80pin SCA U320 interface.

Warranty
