Fujitsu Siemens PA1510

Hi there everyone,
only my second post here, but once again, I have another problem!
Recently i bought a nice fujitsu laptop, thinking it was the B*****S. AMD Turion 64x2 ( AMD version of Intels dual core ) 1gb of RAM, ATI Radeon 1100 graphics, wireless, and came pre installed with Windows Vista Basic. However, i have found this computer overheats, and its not just overheating now and then due to heavy usage. It just dies, lines appear down the screen and i cannot do anything but hold down the power to kill the laptop myself, which of course is not the ideal thing to do. I have just been out to PC world and bought a laptop cooling device, two fans in a tray of metal to cool the underside of the laptop. This hasnt worked, still crashing. I am beginning to wonder if this is a heat issue or a hardware issue. I need help as soon as possible, because it is becoming an inconvinience not being able to use a (stable) laptop. Has anyone else exprerianced this problem with the same laptop, or a laptop of the same brand.
Thanks in advance, and help or comments would be much appreciated.
