I just purchased an HP dv2000 notebook from Best Buy. The specs are as follows:
ATI Turion processor 1.9ghz
2 GB RAM
160 GB HDD
DVDRW/CDRW super drive w/ light scribe
Nvidia 7150M Integrated graphics w/ up to 156 MB shared memory.
I installed Neverwinter Nights 2 on the system which it runs pretty poorly. To get it playable you have to run it at 800x600 resolution with just about every effect turned off. I wondered if the integrated graphics system in the computer is really that poor. I currently have it set to share up to 128MB or memory for video, would giving it more memory increase performance.
From what I have read the 7150M being integrated isn't a gaming card by any means but it should run older games, like Neverwinter Nights 2 decently and supposodly runs games liek Guild Wars and WOW very well. Any ideas? Think the laptop would even run UT3?
