Laptop desk in bed

Thread Starter
Can anyone recommend some good laptop desks that rest on lap sitting on the couch or in bed? It would be nice if the desk has some spare space on the side for the mouse.

Ditto. The board I use has just enough room for my lappy, my mousepad and mouse, and my mp3 player. Its quite comfortable as well.

I went to the local hardware store with the dimensions of my laptop and got a 1/4inch thick piece of plexy-glass* cut to the correct size and used a table grinder to smooth over the edges. I had a friend etch an AW logo on it also

I use a nice plastic cutting board. I have a large one that I keep around the house that holds the laptop and enough room for a mouse and pad. I also have a small one that I keep in the notebook backpack for when I'm on the go, this one is only to keep the laptop off my lap and help keep it cleaner/lint free, which nowadays with all of the fans I find necessary.

They are cheap, simple, look nice and you can find plenty of choices in any walmart (wood, plastic, different thicknesses and sizes).

I forgot what the name is but there's a flat board wood with a semi-cricled beanie bag underneath it. I believe you can buy it at Bestbuy or target for around $15-20. It's well worth the investment!

How about the lapdawg? Thou may not have enough space for a mouse, it works well for laptops in bed.
