19" and over gaming laptops with 8800GTX

Hello, I was wondering if there were any laptops out there with a 19" or bigger screen with the 8800 GTX card in it. I know Sager had a 19" but doesn't seem to be on their page anymore. I'm looking for a good reputable company in North America that ships to Canada and don't want to spend over $3000 on it.

good luck with that.

Why in hell's name would you want a laptop that is so big? If you're getting something that big you might as well buy a desktop and you'll get it all FAR cheaper.

If I wanted a desktop, I'd ask for a desktop. Can anyone actually answer the question I'm asking?

If you REALLY wanted to know why I want a laptop that big? Because I like to game, and I have a 2 year old kid. Space is limited since my desktop takes up so much room with cords hanging everywhere and he wants to get into it. I want a laptop because I can just pack it up and put it away, out of site, out of mind.

One: I can't find the 19 inch laptops anymore.
Two: I never saw on with the GPU you are asking for.
Three: Its not going to happen for 3k.

1. There are 19" laptops (VooDooPC Envy:201 is 20" with only a 7950GTX, with that alone your looking at $5,500+ US)
2. No laptop has a 8800GTX, only 8800GT or GS I think....
3. Defiantly not going to happen for 3k, 19" with 8800GT anything will be no cheaper then 5-7K

Yah I find the Voodoo PC's extremely overpriced. You can get similar products from Alienware and sager for half the price. I know Sager has a 17" with the 8800 GTX for $2600 so I'm hoping they will come out with a 19" again. I won't be buying until Feb anyways when I get my quarterly bonus so hopefully Sager brings it back.

Well you could try the Dell XPS M2010 version...it pretty much comes under your price range but doesent have the 8800gtx....

if there was a laptop that had 19 / 8800m gtx i think everyone wud buy one if they were around 3000

maybe you might not need a 8800m gtx , theres a acer laptop with 20.1 screen and has a 7600m card inside it ...my 7600gt can play any game at respectable levels.. for a laptop with a 'big' screen and decent card i would go for that notebook personlly...

I would not want to carry that thing around, I'm thinking 25lbs,lol.
12lbs is already more than I want to move consistently.

high end laptops i can acknowledge need a bigger build and weight the more powerful you see them and want them.. only in the more distant future i can see them being slim sized / compact as technology gets better and smaller .. like the power brick for the m1730 is in comparision to the x360 powerbrick for example ..but i can understand why ..that machine can handle 2 sli 8800gtx which a desktop would need a requirement psu of 750-800watt ..

for me personally the heaviness/stocky build doesnt matter .. it might be my personal taste but i like something which knows what it is by its very looks.. a gaming laptop in this day and age just cant be slimline beauty like a sony vaio or something .. dell labelled the m1730 'the beast' coz they knew it just cant be slim and sexy but a gaming monster

ok, I guess I'll have to accept that a 19" with 8800gtx isn't going to happen. What are the 17" laptops out there with the 8800gtx? I know Alienware has them coming and Sager has it. I'm sure Falcon Northwest and Voodoo do as well...any others I'm missing that is worth checking out?

How are Sager laptops anyways? I haven't met anyone with one

Clevo or Compal make Sager's. AW, Voodoo, FN, and Hypersonic buy Sagers and paint them. Then sell them as there own.

www.smoothcreations.com is coming out with a 20+ inch notebook with the 8000 series cards... in a few more weeks.

Those have to be some of the most over priced machines I have ever seen.
all i can see are the 7950gtx in sli , which isnt too bad at all ..

a monitor itself with rez of 1900x1200 would cost alot ... i can see why gaming laptops are so over priced coz only the hardcore would go for them

i would personally go for the m1730 when the 8800mgtx are fitted inside them if thats the card you want ..you can get sli 8700mgt right now from dell..plus your kid will like the lights and look of the laptop ..i havnt seen anything rivaling the dell xps range in looks from anyone else

I was talking about all there systems really. Now for the paint job you got I understand but for a single color that is retarded.
its very rare to see those kind of colors today. you want a fancy looking laptop you pay a premium.

I guess you could say that, though I would just take the parts to a body shop and have them do it for 50 bucks. Or have my buddy do it for a case of beer.
