Laptop Wont Hold A Charge

I am no stranger to the problems these laptops have, I have had my fair share of problems but this one tops them all. The laptop will not charge. I used to be able to fix it by moving the charge cord over to the right or left or up or down but now it is not charging at all. Any ideas?

Easy fix here.... If you were able to get it to charge intermittently when moving the cord, this indicates a short circuit in one of the wires inside the insulated cable. Replace the power adapter and/or cord and you should be back in business.
